LAYERS is a spatial social network that reimagines how individuals interact with the world around them. By allowing users to place Augmented Reality (AR) content in physical locations or around other people, it opens up new dimensions of connection and returns agency to the user. This platform empowers communities by transforming everyday environments into dynamic canvases of shared expression and communication.
Built on Google Geospatial API technology, LAYERS bridges the digital and physical worlds with just a smartphone. Users can create and discover posts tied to specific neighborhoods, cultural landmarks, or even personal routines—whether it’s about celebrating local identity, drawing attention to a broken elevator, or simply sharing a moment in a favorite spot. LAYERS invites people to enhance their surroundings, layering meaning and stories over the world they move through daily.
LAYERS prioritizes transparency, privacy, and trust, creating a safe and respectful environment for spatial interaction. It encourages users to rediscover their familiar locations or explore new ones with a fresh perspective, transforming routine experiences into rich, connected moments. Whether at home or abroad, LAYERS offers a magical new lens to see, share, and understand the world.
By embracing Mixed Reality networking, users engage in more than just screen-based communication. Through text messages, lively dialogues, and community interactions, people gain deeper insights into their ambient surroundings. LAYERS turns cities and spaces into interactive experiences, inviting everyone to become active participants in the real world. Join the future of social connection—join LAYERS and have fun enhancing the world around you.
